On the blog again

Okay, Hallmonitor is up today. I already know how it looks on Windows XP through IE6 and Firefox, but those of you on Macs and/or running different browser, give me some feedback. Fonts used are Franklin Gothic Medium and Arial Black, both of which come included with XP, but I have no idea if they're viewable on Mac or older versions of Windows. If not, what fonts are you seeing? And, are there any problems with the layout/table arrangement in browsers other than IE6 and Firefox?

Thanks for being my QC department, LJ friends. : )

Oh, xml feed! I forgot. Thanks for the reminder.

Yeah, smarty pants. It'll last for a while. I'm adopting the Stereogum method and writing as little as I have to and still get my point across.

I've long been a fan of his word-economy, but I just can't seem to make it work for me. A pox on me for being too damn wordy.

I've got the same problem. I have to elaborate on EVERYTHING just about.

So this will indeed be a learning process.

Has 75 or Less taught you nothing?

For what it's worth, I consider you a pretty efficient writer; I've always thought you got the most out of your words.

very nice site (and very nice juliana photo!).

i'm seeing a serif font (times?) on explorer, netscape and firefox for mac. looks great in safari and all pc browsers though, good job.

Thanks. I'll have to set verdana as the secondary fonts or something, because serif is a-no-good.

i wouldn't mind if the font was a little bigger, but of course i can fix that myself in firefox, so it's not a deal breaker.
